Cervical Leep
Cervical leep procedure can be very helpful in treating disorders in the inner genitals caracterised by abnormal vaginal discharge; miscarriage is one of the complications after such an operation.
A traditional treatment for this condition is a loop electrosurgical excision procedure, which uses a wire with electricity running through it to cut away the abnormal areas. When a Pap smear shows abnormal cells on a female's cervix, it is called dysplasia and is caused by HPV.

Since a virus causes the abnormal cells on the cervix, this procedure does have a 9-30% reoccurrence rate where abnormal cells may come back. This procedure takes about 20-30 minutes to complete and the cervix needs about 3-4 weeks to heal.
